Routes Visa Expert · routes.co.in

Routes Visa Expert prepares a visa application, and the extra services you add to it. The embassy or the government decides the visa. This page says when money comes back, and when it stays. A payment counts as confirmed when the payment gateway, the bank, or Routes marks it successful, whichever is first.

Documents still pending

You have started an application, and the personal details or the documents are not in yet. The file has not been sent to an embassy, a government, or a visa centre. You may stop. Routes returns the amount it is still holding for that application.

Routes is still checking the file

The documents are in, and Routes is reading them. The file has still not been sent. You may stop. Routes returns the amount it is still holding.

After the file is sent

Once Routes has sent the application to an embassy, a government, or a visa centre, the application fee is not returned. A file that has been sent stays sent. Routes will not pull it back.

If the visa is granted

The fee is not returned. The visa has already been issued.

If Routes itself made the file late

Routes does not set the embassy clock, and a slow authority is not a Routes delay. If the file was complete, and the only reason it reached the authority after the preparation time shown on that application was a delay inside Routes, Routes returns its own service fee. Money already paid to an embassy, a visa centre, a courier, or an insurer is not part of that return.

If the visa is refused

Routes returns its own service fee for that application. Money already paid to an embassy, a visa centre, a courier, or an insurer is not returned by Routes.

A fresh file after a refusal

A re-apply is a new file, and it follows the same stages. Before that fresh file is sent, Routes returns the re-apply service fee it is still holding. After the fresh file is sent, that fee stays. If the fresh application is refused, Routes returns the re-apply service fee. If the fresh visa is granted, the fee stays. Government and centre charges already paid are not returned.

Travel insurance

Before the insurer issues the policy, Routes returns the premium it is still holding. Once the policy has been issued, the premium is not refundable.

A doorstep visit

Up to 24 hours before the booked time, you may move the visit to another date if a slot is open, or you may cancel it. If you cancel in that window, Routes returns the doorstep charge it is still holding. Inside 24 hours of the booked time, the doorstep charge is not refundable. If no slot is open, the date cannot be moved.

A video session

The same window applies. Up to 24 hours before the booked time, you may move the session to an open slot, or cancel it. On a cancel in that window, Routes returns the video charge it is still holding. Inside 24 hours, the video charge is not refundable.

The same order taken twice

If one order is charged twice, Routes returns the extra charge only.

How a return is paid

Ask from your Routes account on https://routes.co.in. Routes decides the stage from its own record of the file. An approved return goes only to the original payment method. Routes does not pay cash and does not pay interest. Routes will start an approved return within 7 working days. Your bank or the payment gateway may take longer to show it. A charge the gateway or the bank has already kept is outside the amount Routes can return.

A bank dispute

Write through your account before you raise a chargeback. Where this policy says the fee stays, Routes may contest the dispute with the payment gateway and may close the file.
